1915 – 2012

FARMINGTON — Eleanor Bouffard, 97, of Farmington died Wednesday morning, Aug. 22, at the Sandy River Center for Healthcare in Farmington.

She was born March 25, 1915, in Dixfield, a daughter of, Delmont and Nellie (Woodcock) Adams. She attended local schools and later worked at Stowell-MacGregor in Dixfield and Anson Stick.

On Aug. 26, 1960, she married Walter Bouffard at the Dixfield Common Church.

Eleanor enjoyed her work around her home including her housework, gardening and baking. Her greatest pleasure was time spent with her family, especially the company of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Gordon of Farmington; her grandchildren, Carol Gilblair of Arundel, Burchard Williamson and his wife, Karen, of Farmington, Earl Williamson of Jay, Kim Williamson of Farmington, and James Williamson and his wife, Laurie, of Arundel; 12 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, on Dec. 18, 1987; a granddaughter, Linda Emery; siblings, Stanley, Irene and Ruth.
