Peggy Rotundo is running for re-election to House District 74 in November.

Many years ago, I watched a woman walk by my home on College Street, hand-in-hand with a little girl, going to drop her off at Pettingill School. The smiles on their faces said it all. They were always deep in conversation. A caring woman, listening — that was Rotundo with her daughter.

She is still listening to everyone’s point of view about today’s issues, studying all the facts and information on an issue before making a final decision.

She has been on the Appropriations Committee four times. Experience counts. Mainers need someone with common sense. That is what she gives her constituents.

She is not afraid to ask the tough questions. She is well respected by both Republicans and Democrats in Lewiston, Augusta and throughout Maine.

That’s why I will vote for Peggy Rotundo on Nov. 6.
