I know both candidates for the Maine House of Representatives in Lewiston’s District 74 (north of Russell Street and between the river and Old Greene Road). Both candidates have many favorable qualities, but I strongly endorse Tim Lajoie.
As a former jail chaplain and current police chaplain, he knows the difficulties of those who are less fortunate, but his compassion is tempered by reality. Lajoie will exercise the judgment necessary to strike a balance in policies between helping people and preventing unnecessary dependency on the government.
I will be voting for Tim Lajoie on Nov. 6.
