Donations needed

RUMFORD — A Christmas fair will be held on Nov. 10 at the Rumford Senior Center. Donations for food baskets, baked goods and volunteers to tend tables are needed.

Class of 1946

MEXICO — The Stephens High School Class of 1946 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Dick’s Restaurant.

PERU — The Neighborly Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the former Peru School. A potluck dinner will follow the meeting. New members are welcome.

A trip to the Fryeburg Fair is planned for Tuesday, Oct. 2. The cost is $10 a person. Pick-up points will be Dixfield, Mexico and Bethel. Nonmembers are welcome.

The group meets on the third Wednesday of each month at the former Peru Elementary School. For more information, call Connie at 364-4189.

Rummage/bake sale

RUMFORD — A rummage and bake sale will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at St. Barnabas Church.
