November presents Mainers with changes that need to happen in the voting booths.

Though I can admire the service record of Charlie Summers, I cannot admire that, in the race for alternative energy sources, he has offered no answers other than the plain old attack ads (currently attacking Angus King). Those attack ads are sickening and without form or character.

Summers offers no alternatives to gasoline and fuel oil. In fact, the platform he supports includes drilling for oil in off-shore areas.

Is that what Maine really needs — the possibility of destroying Maine’s beautiful oceanfronts and the ecological environment of the lobster economy? Could there be an oil spill off the coast of Maine similar to what happened in the Gulf of Mexico?

That is not what Angus King would do. He would not pollute the beautiful Maine landscape.
