KENNEBUNK — A Kennebunk lawyer, a former South Portland mayor and a Kennebunk businessman top the first 21 names of men summoned on misdemeanor charges of soliciting a prostitute.

The 21 men were charged between Oct. 5 and 12 in connection with a high-profile case in which police allege Alexis Wright used a Zumba studio as a cover for a prostitution ring and secretly filmed many of her encounters, according to a news release from the Kennebunk Police Department.

Included in the list are Jens W. Bergen, 54, a trial and litigation lawyer in Kennebunk; James A. Soule, 58, a former South Portland mayor; and Philip K. Parker, 65, of Kennebunk, principal appraiser and treasurer for Russell-Parker Appraisal services of Kennebunk.

Also charged were: Gary D. Bahlkow, 57, of North Yarmouth; Norman P. Crepeau Jr., 46, of Biddeford; Joseph P. Cuetara, 63, of Boston, Mass.; Kenneth A. Fairbanks, 54, of Lisbon Falls; Donald F. Hill, 52, of Old Orchard Beach; Monie B. Hobbs Jr., 43, of North Berwick; David Kline, 51, of Rye Beach, N.H.; Robert R. Labonte, 61, of Saco; Dale P. Madore, 34, of North Yarmouth; Paul A. Main, 43, of Biddeford; Harry J. McMann, 55, of Portland; Kevin L. Pagliccia, 39, of Lyman; Claude S. Palmer Jr., 47, of Oxford; Philip K. Parker, 65, of Kennebunk; Colin P. Powers, 39, of Scarborough; Clinton J. Ray, 42, of Portland; John D. Verreault, 50, of, Saco; James P. White, 38, of Buxton; Peter M. Wormell Sr., 61, of Westbrook.
