This is in response to Mike Farrell’s letter (Oct. 26), “Not their business,” and his thoughts on “good Christians … meddling in other people’s business …”

When it comes to same-sex marriage, I say he is blind to the truth. This is not about meddling. This is about the truth of immorality; as in sin. Let’s call it what it is.

This country is falling apart and people had better start turning back to God, because he is the only way out.

Christians also should have rights, as far as being able to speak up against things going on in this country without being attacked and belittled. People don’t always want to hear what Christians have to say because it stirs up something in them. I know that will only continue; however, I still strive, or at least need to, to vote on what is right.

How do Christians find that out? The Bible, that is how.

I hope all Christians will register and vote on the same-sex marriage issue, and that all Mainers will get out there and not just stay silent. Staying silent will just lead to more decay.
