It is long past time for representatives in Augusta to get down to the business of taking care of the state of Maine, its people, natural beauty, farms, businesses and infrastructure. For that reason, I am voting for Keith Welch to represent Farmington and Industry in the Legislature.

Welch is thoughtful, energetic and optimistic about the area’s future. He grew up in Wilton, worked hard in the area as a youth, served in the Army and graduated from UMF on the GI bill.

Spending years working as a special education director and school principal gave him the experience needed to bring people and ideas together, and to listen.

Now retired, he has time to devote to applying his leadership skills in Augusta.

I will support Keith Welch.
