FARMINGTON – Police responded to a call early Sunday that a man was attempting to get into a house on Dutch Drive, Farmington police secretary Bonnie Pomeroy said Monday.
When officer Ryan Rosie responded with Sgt. Mike Adcock at 2:22 a.m., they found an intoxicated man who thought he was on High Street, she said according to a police report.
Lucas Yanovich, 18, of Quincy, Mass., who also has a house in Farmington, thought he was trying to get into a friend’s house on High Street, Pomeroy said. When police searched him they found two switchblades on him, she said.
Yanovich was arrested on a charge of possession of dangerous knives.
He was released on $100 cash bail on Sunday from the Franklin County jail. He is scheduled to appear in a 12th District Court in Farmington on Dec. 20.
