MINOT — Minot Historical Society met in October with a program presented by Rachel Desgrosseilliers, executive director of Museum L-A, and Susan Beane, archivist and public relations director.

They spoke about the beginnings of the project and the history that has been and is still being collected of the work of the mills in Lewiston and Auburn.

A potluck supper hosted by Donald and Janice Verrill preceded the meeting.

The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Town Office. Jackie Rybeck will present the program, “Writing ‘Loki, the Littlest Elf.'”

Cookbooks will be for sale. All are welcome.
