RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Doris Cureton was celebrated Thursday at Parish of the Holy Savior. Fr. Robert Vaillancourt was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Ave Maria,” “Wind Beneath My Wings,” “You Are Mine” and “Fly Like a Bird.” The Old and New Testaments were proclaimed by her granddaughter, Angela McAllister. The prayer of the faithful was offered by Angela McAllister. Personal reflections were shared by her granddaughter, Amber Beaudoin. Military honors were rendered by the Maine Funeral Honor Guard. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. A reception served by Gilles LaBelle was in the parish hall. Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home.
