CAPE NEDDICK — The wedding of Holly Barrett Nash and Christopher Adam Gordon was held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 4 at the Cliff House Resort in Cape Neddick. Gordon Small, notary public and cousin of the bridegroom, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Gordon is the daughter of Paul and Catherine Nash of Kennebunk. Mr. Gordon is the son of Wade and Ann Gordon of Kingfield.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a satin strapless trumpet style gown in A-line style, sweetheart neckline and ruched across the middle into a cascading waterfall effect. She carried a bouquet of white and orange lilies.
A friend of the bride, Devin Hodgkins, served as honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Sarah Nash and Megan Nash, sisters of the bride, and Emily Gordon, sister of the bridegroom. Kailey Bochetti, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.
Serving as best man for his son was Wade Gordon. Groomsmen were Joseph Friant II, Brian Pelletier and Ryan Nash, brother of the bride. Tristan Small, cousin of the bridegroom, was usher and ring bearers were Joseph Brochetti III and Tyler Campbell, cousins of the bride, and Matthew Campbell, cousin of the bride, was bell ringer.
A reception followed at the Cliff House Resort and Spa in Ogunquit, after which the couple traveled to Italy. They are residing in Portland.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree in multimedia production and design from the University of Southern Maine in 2009. She is a senior customer service associate at People’s United Bank in Portland.
The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Alfred University in 2006. He is loss prevention coordinator at Hannaford Bros.
