Junior Division

Pat’s Pizza 32, Sam’s Italian Sandwich Shoppe 25.

Pat’s Pizza doubled up Sam’s at the half, and held on for their second wins in as many games. Pat’s Pizza had all nine players hit the scoring column, led by Austin Brown with ten points. Ethan Brown helped pace the attack by controlling the tempo and adding 6 points. The other point contributors for Pat’s were Grace Fontaine (five), Courtney Richard (four), Spencer Morrill (two), Lindsey Adams (two), Homza Hussein (two), and Kiara Fournier (one). Sam’s was let by big man Ryan Theriault, who poured in a game high 15 points. Corey Wiers ran the point, adding four points to the tally. Keegan Pelletier (two), Isaaq Bashir (two), Emily Piper (one), and Caroline Hammond (one) rounded out the scoring for Sam’s.

Leary & Detroy 39, Austin Associates 37.

Leary & Detroy holds on for a 2 point win in a battle throughout. Mohamed Mohamed and Ahmed Yonis both netted 18 for the winners. Dan Milks and Giavanna Campbell chipped in with two points and one point respectively.  Austin Associates played unselfish basketball and everyone contributed offensively. Devaunte Rembert  paced Austin’s with 11, followed by Jaden Legare and Josh Kaiser with eight  apiece. Chris Frey scored his four points in the second half as Austin’s tried to capture the lead. Kevin St. Pierre, Olivia DuBois and Kabib Kabib each added a basket for Austin’s .

Androscoggin Title 49, Emerson Toyota 17.

Androscoggin Title built a 28-10 half time lead and never looked back.  The three-headed monster of Max Creaser (13), Caleb Yarnevich (13), and Bobby Tremaine (11) seemed unstoppable from the opening tip. Riley Gilpatrick  and Dylan Breton contributed four  points apiece, and Ben Hallett and Adbi Mohamed added a bucket each to round out the scoring.  Chantelle Ouellette led the way for Emerson with nine points, followed by Serena Mower (six) and Joel Stubbs (two).

Platz Associates 24, Sun Journal 22. A short-handed SJ team gave Platz all they could handle. Wol akol lead the attack for Platz with 12 points and was a playmaker for his teammates. Dominick Jacobs added six points; Seth Webster, Storm Jipson, and Hunter Young all chipped in with a bucket as Platz held on for a two point win.  Sun Journal was led by Ethan Chute with 11 points and Cole Melanson with six. Dan Milks (three) and Joel Stubbs (two) rounded out the scoring for SJ.
 
Pee Wee Division

The Fortin Group 22, Roopers 21. Jacob Jackson (nine) scored six of his team’s ten third quarter points and The Fortin Group staved off Roopers to start the season 2-0. Anson Perry scored in each frame and finished with seven points. Caleb Davis (Four) and Braden Paradie (two) contributed offensively as The Fortin Group needed every point to secure the victory. Chase Martin single handedly kept Roopers in the hunt scoring all five of the team’s fourth quarter points and finishing with 11. Eli St. Laurent and Declan Girioux dropped in four points each and Elise Syphers chipped in with a bucket.

High Maintenance Landscape 24, Agren Appliance 17.

Tiana James controlled the paint and poured in a game high 14 points for High Maintenance Landscape. Also contributing to the offensive punch was Conor Burtchell (four), Addison Dostie (two), Josh Lavign (two), Audry Hamel (one), and Jack Tetreault (one).  Agren’s was led by Noah Peck with eight points. Josh Randall (five) and Mike Chaput (four) rounded out the scoring .

M&P Used Auto Parts 23, Hammond Lumber 21.

Nick Kaiser scored 6 of his team high 14 points in the fourth quarter when M&P needed it most.  John Shea controlled the boards and added five points for M&P, and Joey Shea rounded out the scoring with four points. Liam Hutchinson, Ryder Drinkwater, Caed Langley, Michael White and Jared Bernard provided energy and a strong defensive effort throughout. Tyson Green Led Hammond Lumber with ten points, Noah Hill added seven and they controlled the tempo in this back and forth game. Matthew Metivier scored all four of his points in the third quarter when Hammond took a 17-15 point lead into the 4th.

Morrison & Sylvester 18, Modern Woodmen of America 14. 

Malik Foster paced M&S with four points in each quarter for a game high 16; Daniel Day chipped in with two. Camden Saltis, Samantha McCarron, Dominic Comeau-Gosselin, Noah Byram, Fiona King and Isaac Shannon were key contributors in the team’s first win, bringing their record to 1-0-1. Modern Woodmen was led by Matthew Connor with eight points, Cameron Langis (four) and Sarah English (two). Down 10-4 at the half, Modern Woodman fought back and kept it close.

Hahnel Brothers 31, Heidi’s Brooklyn Deli 22.

Devonte Scott and RJ Nichols led Hahnel Bros offensively with 14 and ten points respectively. Luke Josephson added six points and Owen Vincent went 1-2 from the stripe, helping Hahnel Bros to a 2-0 record on the young season. Heidi’s had a well balanced attack, led by Quincy force inside and finished with a team high 12 points. Christian Frey (four), Landon Cougle (two) and Camar Heban (two) added to the offensive output.  Heidi’s was led by Quincy Coachman (eight), Owen Hamel (six), and Ben Poland (four). Erin Cowie and Noah Cyr added two points each in the 4th to help Heidi’s close the gap.

BGA Financial 20, Gee & Bee Sporting Goods 20.

Jason Brooker saved BGA from an 0-2 start as he made a basket with two seconds on the clock, knotting the score at 20. Brooker had 10 on the day followed by Connor Leclerc (six) and Carter Gregoire with four. Kaleb Danner, Tyler Smith, Ryan Collier, Drew Sayler, Brady Vincent and Aiden Charest played unselfishly and were strong defensively for BGA Financial. Partick Anthoine led the way with 12 for Gee & Bee and controlled the boards. Christian Frey (four), Landon Cougle (two), and Camar Heban (two) rounded out the scoring for Gee & Bee.
