FARMINGTON — Gladys Tardif, 100, of Livermore, died early Monday, Dec. 10, at the Sandy River Center for Health Care, where she had been a resident since March.
She was born Jan. 8, 1912, in Jay, the only child of Harry and Maude (Archer) Young. She attended and graduated from Jay schools.
She worked at Livermore Shoe and also sold Avon for many years. Gladys loved playing cards and Dominos.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Lorrie Welch of Livermore; her granddaughters, Kelly-Jo LeVasseur and her husband, Daniel, of Livermore and Wanda Young of Livermore; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her most recent spouse, Damien Tardif, Feb. 14, 2006; son, Roger Safford, April 16, 1994; and a granddaughter, Sara-Jane Tyler, Aug. 24, 2009.
