1936 – 2012

AUBURN — Shirley Ann Greeley, 76, of Auburn, died Friday, Dec. 21, at the Odd Fellows Home in Auburn, where she had been a resident since last February.

Born March 25, 1936, in Auburn, she was the daughter of Antonio and Doris Taylor Lagueux.

Educated in Auburn schools, she was a graduate of Edward Little High School, Class of ’55.

After graduation she worked in the offices of several local shoe shops, including Wood & Smith and Shapiro Bros., and then worked at Rainbow Credit Union and Patrons Insurance.

She was a past-president of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post #22.

Survivors include two brothers, Bruce Bordeau and wife, Pat, of Rochester, N.H., and Robert Lagueux and wife, Elaine, of South Paris; three sisters, Janice and husband, Dan Leonas, of Poland, Beverly and husband, Fred Schwab, of Brunswick, and Donna and husband, William Morris of Walls, Mo. Also surviving are four nephews, Daniel Leonas Jr. of Poland, Lance Morris of Walls, Mo., Joseph Bordeau of Norwich, Conn., and Frederick Schwab of Brunswick; and eight nieces, Deborah Bean and Brenda Heussman of Longmont, Colo., Martha Tamborra and Sherry Taylor of Rochester, N.H., Beth Beatty of Norwich, Conn., Lynda Leonas of Lewiston, Jennifer Nicholson of Brunswick, and Shirley Ann O’Connor of Rochester, N.H.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a nephew, David Bordeau, and a niece, Roberta Cox.

The family thanks her special friends Diane and Ruthie and the staff of Odd Fellows for the loving care they gave Shirley.
