BOLIVIA, N.C. — Rita Dolores Galipeau-Aubin her heavenly Father welcomed her home with arms wide open on died Dec. 20.

She was born Oct. 5, 1936, in Lewiston.

She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She loved to dance, laugh and play cards with her sisters and mother. She was an amazing cook who also liked to paint, draw, and attend Catholic Mass which she was so passionate and faithful about throughout her whole life.

She impacted many lives in such a remarkable way with her love and compassion; therefore, she will be dearly missed by all.

She leaves behind her son, Robert Aubin of Lupton, Mich.; her daughters, Mary Jane Aubin of Leland, N.C., and Lorraine Aubin of Raleigh, N.C.; her grandsons, Jason Aubin of Lynchburg, Va., Ryan Aubin of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Bobby Aubin of White Lake, Mich.; her granddaughters, Megan Aubin of White Lake, Mich., and Lynisa Aubin of Leland, N.C.; her brother, Robert Galipeau of Lewiston; her sisters, Jean LaRoche and Grace Bissonette, both of Lewiston; and lastly, her significant other, Steve Oravitz, a family friend for more than 35 years.

She was predeceased by her son, Norman Aubin; two sisters; two brothers; as well as her parents, Alfred Galipeau and Dorilda Galipeau.

Funeral will be held at a later date.
