LEWISTON — A funeral mass honoring the life of Denise L. Lajoie was celebrated Saturday, Jan. 12, at Holy Cross Church following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Dumais celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the beginning of the mass, Scott, Shawn and Steven James placed the baptisimal pall on Denise’s casket —which symbolizes her Baptism into new life. Words of remembrance were expressed by Denise’s niece Suzanne James at the cemetery. The Pallbearers were Eric Terrio, Leo Boucher, Roger Lajoie, Marc Lavalliere, Marc Terrio, Daniel Potvin and Alex Terrio. A reception of fellowship was held at Marco’s Restaurant following the services at the cemetery. Arrangements by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
