FARMINGTON — The Easter Bunny will visit the Old South Church for an Easter Eggs-travaganza Party from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 30.

The event will include mazes, an egg drop, cupcake decorating and a whipped-cream pie-throwing game in addition to crafts and face painting. Guitarist Mark Phillips will proved live music.

Parents will have an opportunity to take their children’s photos with the Easter Bunny, who will hand out treats.

The event is being hosted by members of the Old South Youth Group, which is working to raise funds toward a mission trip next fall. The teens will work beside members of CityReach, an organization that provides food, shelter and counseling to homeless individuals on the streets of Boston.

The Rev. Alexis Fuller-Wright said, “I’m proud of our youth for coming up with a fun and creative way to build more bridges between the church and the community as they raise funds toward, hopefully, a life-altering trip. It is so important to learn early on that the heart of the church is in the connections we build between people, not just what we can accomplish by ourselves.”

All children age 3 through 8 are invited to attend, Tickets are $4 a child; parents are free.
