NEWCASTLE — Pauline M. LaBrecque, 87, a resident of Newcastle, formerly of Livermore, died peacefully Tuesday, March 26, at her daughter’s home in Newcastle.

She was born Dec. 15, 1925, in Chisholm, the daughter of Irving and Rose (Leduc) Strout. Pauline attended Livermore Falls High School. On Oct. 27, 1947, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay, she married her husband of 54 years, Raymond LaBrecque, he passed away April 3, 2002.

She devoted her life to caring for her family. Pauline was a former communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church.

She is survived by her son and his wife, Robert and Sharon LaBrecque of Jay; her daughter, Elaine Nelson and her husband, Raoul, of Newcastle; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Bonnie Strout and Sandra Chretien.

She was predeceased by her son, Richard LaBrecque; two brothers, Jack and Robert Strout; and three sisters, Vivian Dracos, Jeannette Richmond and Lorraine Pineau.
