NORWAY — The U.S. Small Business Administration, in co-sponsorship with AARP and SCORE, Counselors to America’s Small Businesses, will be hosting an “Encore Entrepreneur” Forum from 9 to 11 a.m. April 29 at the Town Office, 19 Danforth St.

This workshop will introduce prospective small business owners to the resources that are available to help them get started and successfully launch a business.

Marilyn Geroux, district director for the U.S. Small Business Administration in Maine, will provide details regarding SBA programs; Rich Livingston, state president of AARP, will discuss AARP resources; Steve Veazey will discuss services provided by the Oxford Hills Chapter of SCORE; and Tina Ruhland will speak on behalf of Norway Savings Bank.

The workshop is free. Preregistration is encouraged, but not required. Although the workshop is designed for people starting a business as a second career, it is open to participants of all ages.
