SALEM — Jessica Dirago hurled a no-hitter as Telstar blanked Mt. Abram, 9-0, in MVC softball action Monday.

Dirago dominated the Roadrunners (2-2) with 15 strikeouts. Taylor Savage, Sadie Ellsworth and Rachael Wheeler paced the offense with two hits apiece for the Rebels (4-0).

Maranacook 9, Leavitt 3

TURNER — Ashley Belanger gave up just four hits in seven innings of work and drew adequate run support as Maranacook hustled to a 9-3 victory over Leavitt in KVAC softball action Monday.

Sydney Cameron led the Black Bears (2-3) with two hits and two RBIs, while most runs were tallied thanks to errors by their opponents.

The Hornets (0-5) received and RBI double from Sarah Pare in the fourth inning. Michelle Morin went the distance and was tagged wih the loss.

Oak Hill 8, St. Dom’s 4

WALES — After jumping out to a 3-1 advantage in the first frame, Oak Hill raced away to post a convinciong 8-4 win over St. Dom’s in another KVAC softball matchup Monday.

Brooke LeBel led the Raiders (2-2) with three hits and two RBIs, while Kelsey Collins and Alyssa Rouleau pounded out a pair of hits.

The Saints (0-4) were led by Bethany Fox and Sam Ladd with two hits apiece.

Oxford Hills 5, Erskine 4

PARIS — Annika Kahkonen ripped an RBI single in the sixth inning to give Oxford Hils a narrow 5-4 win over Erskine in another MVC softball tilt Monday.

Kahkonen led the Vikings (5-1) with two hits and two RBIs, while Anna Wilson also belted out a pair of hits.

Erskine (2-3) was led by catcher Allison Gauvin and Phoebe Cramm with two hits apiece.

Madison 5, Mtn. Valley 0

RUMFORD — Emily McKenney tossed a two-hit shutout and matched that production on her own offensively as Madison tipped Mtn. Valley, 5-0, in MVC softball action on Monday.

McKenney fanned 13 and walked five to pick up the victory for the Bulldogs (5-0). Erika Parker and Cristie Vicneire each hit a double for Madison. Aly Carlton also had a two-bagger for the Falcons (2-2).

Fryeburg 10, Falmouth 0

FALMOUTH — Sarah Harriman hit for the cycle to lead an eight-hit attack as Fryeburg Academy shut out Falmouth, 10-0, in WMC softball action.

Harriman also picked up the win from the circle, yielding just three hits while walking no one and striking out 11. Kylie Locke had two hits for the Raiders (6-0).

Spruce Mountain 9, Carrabec 7

JAY —  Spruce Mountain built a 5-1 advantage in the first three frames and pulled away to ost a 9-7 victory over Carrabec in more MVC softball action Monday.

Cassidy Couture and Ladesta Tracy each had multiple hits for the Phoenix (3-2) in a well-balanced attack.Katelin Castonguay gave up nine hits in seven innings while earning the win.

Brooke Lewis led the Cobras (2-2) with three hits in the contest.

Cony 11, Edward Little 4

AUGUSTA — Sonja Morse gave up seven hits in seven innings and drew adequate run support as Cony overpowered Edward Little 11-4 in another KVAC tilt Monday.

Morse helped her own cause with three hits, while Arike Brochu and Alyssah Bennet each belted out two hits.

Emily Schario and Brooke Reynolds led the Red Eddies (2-3) with two hits apiece. The undefeated Rams (6-0) led 9-0 after two frames and were never challenged.
