NORWAY — Glenna A. Murphy, 84, of Oxford, died Saturday, May 24, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 16, 1928, in Burnham, the daughter of Jason and Winzold (Bonney) Sedgeley.

Glenna married Edwin Murphy on Oct. 18, 1945. She had been a homemaker and worked at Robinson Manufacturing for more than 18 years.

She was a member of the Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, Marine Corps League Auxiliary, and the Pythian Sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin Murphy of Oxford; two daughters, Bonnie Paradis and husband, Brian, of Battle Creek, Mich., and Cynde Heino and husband, Albert, of West Paris; two sons, Edwin Jr. and wife, Cathy, of Norway and Michael Murphy of Norway; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
