AUBURN — David M. Degone passed away early Sunday, May 26, at the Hospice House.

Dave was born July 26, 1963, in Tonawanda, N.Y., the son of Robert and Ann Degone. Dave was educated in the North Tonawanda school system until 1975, when his fathers job transfer brought the family to Maine.

Dave graduated from Jay High School. After graduation, he met and later married his best friend, Darcy Bryant on June 18, 1993. They made their home in Livermore Falls on Strickland Loop Road for the past 10 years. This was more than just a home for Dave and Darcy, this was a place they built together, and it seems like there was always a fire in the fireplace on the weekends.

Dave was employed in many truck driving jobs, from cross country, to local and everwhere in between; a job he truly enjoyed. Dave also had a passion for four wheeling, hunting and fishing and anything to do with the outdoors. Dave is survived by his wife of 20 years, Darcy Degone; parents, Robert

and Ann Degone of Sanford, Fla.; three brothers, Robert Degone and fiance, Deanne Oberton of Wilton, Steve Degone of Peru and Charles Degone of Harlem, Ga.; mother-in-law, Mary Bryant; father-in-law,

Arnold Bryant and wife, Nancy; brother-in-law, Shawn Bryant and fiance, Tracey Bonnevie; niece and nephews, Joe and Brandy Degone, Brianna and Anthony Degone, John-Michael, Rachel and Dylan Degone.
