LEWISTON — Jacqueline L. Giambra, 63, of Lewiston, passed away Saturday, May 25, after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Jacqueline was born in Lewiston, Sept. 12, 1949, the daughter of Robert and Grace Gauthier. She graduated from Lewiston High School and also attended the University of Maine Orono.
She was a dedicated homemaker always taking care of her husband and children first and later worked for several years as an office assistant at Roland’s Drywall.
Jacqueline married her best friend, James Giambra, March 14, 1970. Together they raised their two sons and one daughter. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was a compassionate woman and always saw the good in everyone. Her selflessness unsurpassed, she was a model of true humility. She was always there for us and always willing and wanting to help others. She was always there to listen to others problems.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband of 43 years, James; her three children, Jim Giambra and his wife, Kim, of Lewiston, Michael Giambra of Lewiston and Tracie Giambra-Vye and husband, Brian Vye, of Lewiston; grandchildren, Brendan, Sydney, Brooklyn, Cameron, Ellianna, and another on the way.
Jacqueline will be sadly missed by those who knew her.
