LEWISTON — Funeral services honoring the life of Alfred “Hawk” Donnell were held Friday at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral home with Pastor David Clark presiding. Words of remembrance were shared by Alfred’s grandson, Eve Donnell-Walker, his daughter, Deidre Donnell, his adopted son, David Corbin, his son, Jason Donnell, his twin sister, Alfreda Donnell-Parker, and final words and eulogy were given by Alfred’s son, Corey Donnell. Following a procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, Pastor Clark recited graveside committal prayers followed by the U.S. Navy Honor Detail playing “taps” and presenting our country’s flag to Alfred’s son Corey in recognition of his father’s service to his country during the Vietnam Conflict. Pallbearers were Brian Levesque, Jason Donnell, David Corbin and Corey Donnell. At the conclusion of services, all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Deidre Donnell’s home in Lewiston.
