Key losses: Emily Vickerson, Erika Gile, Carrie Frost, Kali Camick, Jasmine Dostie-Hewett.

Promising newcomers: Freshmen — Mary Claire Blanchard (F), Lorin Bryant (G), Shauna Carlson (D), Quahnah Cummings (D), Amber Gilman (D), Lauren Kaiser (F), Emily Leonard (D), Erica Ouellette (F), Jessica Scott (D).

Outlook: Lower numbers mean no junior varsity squad, and less playing time for the players who need time to develop this season. That said, the top end of this lineup is solid, and in a tough MVC, the Ramblers will need all the talent and experience they can find. Michelsen has lived in the shadow of Vickerson, but this will be her year to shine. The team has won nine games in each of the last four years, and this may be the year it pushes into double digits.
