RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Dorothy I. Chrissikos was celebrated Wednesday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Robert Vaillancourt was the celebrant. Rod Kuhl was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Ave Maria,” “Amazing Grace,” “Old Rugged Cross,” “This is My Father’s World” and “Fly Like a Bird.” The Old Testament was presented by son, James Chrissikos and the New Testament by son. John Chrissikos. Prayer of the faithful was offered by niece, Kay Marchisio. Personal reflections were shared by son, John Chrissikos, grandson, Matthew Chrissikos, granddaughter, Nicole Gagnon and caretaker, Jenna Hart. Interment will be in Maine Veterans’ Cemetery in Augusta. A reception served by the Daughters of Isabella was in the parish hall. Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home.
