Gifford’s Ice Cream 11 Austin Associates 1

AUBURN — Gifford’s Ice Cream and Austin Associates were locked in a 4-1 battle going into the 5th but Gifford’s erupted for seven runs to cap off an 11-1 victory. Gifford’s Austin Brown and Nick Hathaway combined to throw a no-hitter and were big hitters for the scoopers. Brown went 4-for-4 and drove in three runs while Hathaway smacked three hits including a triple. Austin’s starting pitcher Jake Arel was strong through 3 innings striking out six. Spencer Morrill scored Austin’s run.

M&P Auto 10, CB Bachmann 9

AUBURN — Three quick runs by M&P Auto were soon out done by CB Bachmann with one of two doubles from Christian Frey and several hits by his teammates. However, M&P Auto’s persistance and perseverance payed with good pitching from Landon Cougle, Kamden Masselli and especially CW Swasey. Landon Cougle also helped defensively with two fantastic catches for outs in top of the sixth to help stop CB Bachmann from advancing any runners. M&P Auto’s hard work as a team payed off, granting them a 10-9 comeback win.

Heutz Oil 13, Mynahan Foundation 2

LEWISTON —  Abby Svor went 5-for-5 with three rbi’s while Julia Svor went 4-for-5 with two rbi in Heutz Oil’s 13-3 victory over Mynahan Foundation. Skylar Gelinas also had four hits while Sage Cormier had three hits and three rbi’s in the victory. Kaitlyn Bennett and Brooklyn Mynahan each went 2-for 3 for Mynahan Foundation. Teammates Lucie Frenette and Emma St. Peter each had a base hit and a rbi.

Heutz Oil 12, United Ambulance 0

LEWISTON — Emily Strachan had three hits and two rbi’s in Huetz Oil’s 12-0 victory over United Ambulance. Cassidie Wright had two hits and rbi while Rebecca Lussier had a rbi. Danielle Binette and Jasmin Gamache each had two hits for United Ambulance. Daelyn Sargeant and Olivia Lampron had hit for United.
