BETHEL — Selectmen Stanley Howe and Donald Bennett won re-election Tuesday to three-years terms, Deputy Clerk Amy Hanscom said.

Howe received 227 votes; Bennett, 236 votes.

Additionally, Howe and David Luxton were re-elected to three-year terms on the Board of Assessors. Howe tallied 233 votes and Luxton got 247, Hanscom said.

For SAD 44 directors, Elaine Cross was re-elected to a three-year term with 254 votes and former director Carol Everett was elected for three years with 230 votes.

Hanscom said the turnout of 298 voters was “pretty low.”

The annual town meeting is at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Crescent Park School.
