1963 – 2013

LEWISTON — Michael A. Girardin, 50, of Oxford, died Wednesday, June 12.

He was born in Lewiston on Jan. 23, 1963, the son of Armand and Louise Lauten Girardin.

He served in the U.S. Army and had owned his own recycling business. He married Tami Palmer on Aug. 2, 1985. He always had a grin; he enjoyed making people laugh. His motto was, “I will never grow up.” He was a collector of brass.

He is survived by his wife of Oxford; his mother, Louise Girardin; two daughters, Tina Wyrick and Casey Girardin; a grandchild, McKenzie Wyrick; two sisters, Marianne Bellefleur and Tracy Bickford; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father; and brother, Robert Girardin.
