LEWISTON — Independent U.S. Sen. Angus King announced the first of two rotations of constituent outreach hours for the month of July.

The hours are part of his “Your Government, Your Neighborhood” initiative and offer an opportunity for residents to meet directly with a staff representative to discuss specific problems, legislative issues or any concerns regarding federal government agencies. In the central and western Maine area, hours will be:

* Tuesday, July 9, 10 to noon at Lewiston City Hall, 27 Pine St.

* Tuesday, July 9, 2 to 4 p.m. at Auburn Hall, 60 Court St.

* Thursday, July 11, 10 to noon at Norway Town Office, 19 Danforth St.

* Thursday, July 11, 2 to 4 p.m. at Oxford Town Office, 85 Pleasant St.
