WINDHAM — Zach Conley drove in Dennis Meehan with an important insurance run in the bottom of the sixth inning in support of pitcher Cody Dube as Windham edged Rogers Post 153 of Auburn 3-1 in Zone 3 American Legion baseball action Tuesday.

Dube scattered six hits over seven innings of work to earn the win, while Meehan, Shawn Francoeur and Joey Francoeur all smacked doubles for the home team.

Josh Delong led Rogers Post with a pair of hits, including a double. John Simpson suffered the loss despite allowing only five hits in six innings of work.

Pastime 4, Smith-Tobey 3

BRUNSWICK — Corbin Hyde and catcher Alex Small each had three hit as Pastime (4-2) held on for a 4-3 victory over Smith-Tobey in an American Legion baseball game Tuesday.

Pastime built a 3-0 lead through four innings as Smith-Tobey made its move in the sixth and seventh innings.

Hyde smacked a one-run triple in the first inning. Eddie Emerson went six innings to get the win on the mound.
