AUBURN — Heide Noel, 70, went to be with the Lord on June 30.

She was born July 13, 1942, in Berlin, Germany, the daughter of Werner and Ilse (Scharf) Neumann. She graduated from Karl Friedrich Zelter Academic High School in Germany and was married to Capt. Joseph Noel in 1961 in Athol, Mass.

After receiving her nursing degree from the University of Maine, she started her RN career in obstetric nursing and retired from geriatric nursing, specializing in Alzheimer’s care in 2004. She also received a bachelor’s degree of science in management from USM. While their children were young, she and her husband enjoyed camping, skiing and sports in which the children participated.

She loved gardening, music, sewing and was a talented artist, painting watercolors, oils and acrylics. Traveling and seeing the world with her husband was a passion. Nothing was too difficult to at least try.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph; her three children, Monique Bierwirth and son-in-law, Roy, Janine Noel and Andre Noel; her five grandchildren, Brianna Adkins, Anastacia Adkins, Josephine Bolton, Katerina Bierwirth and Matthew Bierwirth. Above all, she was devoted to her family and friend and her God.

You are invited to share your thoughts, condolences and fond memories with the family through Heide’s online guest book at www.crosmanfuneralhome.com.
