Behavioral Health clinicians gathered recently for a rejuvenation retreat at the Bethel Inn. Presenter for the retreat was Stephen Andrew, visionary trainer from Portland’s Health Education and Training Institute. The retreat was coordinated by the Mental Health and Substance Abuse task force of the Oxford County Wellness Collaborative, a dedicated core of individuals who are working to improve networking and collaboration for mental health and substance abuse clinicians across the region. Here, Lynley Turkington, drug and alcohol counselor for Community Concepts, and Scott Moore of Rumford Group Homes, participate in one of several exchanges designed to hone listening skills and experience the gifts of being heard.
