I am very disappointed with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield to think that we would have to travel to Portland for health care services. My husband and I live in a rural area and are happy with the Rumford Hospital and doctors.

Winters here are very bad and we don’t travel in any of those conditions. Many senior citizens do not have a car and cannot drive the 84 miles to Portland.

Many of us will have to change insurance plans. I have always been happy with Anthem. We pay a high premium but have received good service.

We are getting a bad bargain with the proposed deal that Anthem wants to do to us. Taking our hometown health care away from us is going to hurt a lot of people.
