1920 – 2013
AUBURN — Valencia Cody, 93, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, at Odd Fellows and Rebekah’s Home of Maine.
She was born on July 8, 1920, in Lewiston.
She worked at Clarks Shoes and later retired from Knapp Shoes. Val spent her retirement volunteering at Togus and was very active with the VFW, where she had served as president.
She leaves behind her goddaughter, Sandra Marquis; and friend, Monique Brochu.
She is predeceased by her husband, William Cody; and siblings, Delice White and Benoit Sirois.
