Submissions are now being accepted for the “Wicked Youth Art Show.” The exhibit is curated by St. Dom’s sophomore, Lexi Tremblay, who has been an art student of Wicked Illustrations Studio and Gallery for the past five years. All media will be considered from artists 12-18 years of age. There is no fee to submit. The deadline to submit artwork for consideration is Thursday, Sept. 5. Those interested may email jpgs of one or two pieces to [email protected]. Title the work as last name first name, title of piece, size of piece. Please also attach pdfs of your artist’s statement and a short biography to the email. Notifications of accepted work will be sent out by, Sept. 19. The opening reception is Saturday Oct. 5, 5 to 7 p.m. Work will be on display through October. The exhibit is hosted by Wicked Illustrations Studio and Gallery, 190 Riverside Dr., Auburn. The exhibit will also kick off the Wicked Youth Art Group, founded by Tremblay. The Art Group is free and open to young artists ages 12-18.
