Officers of William J. Rogers Post 153, American Legion, 71 South Main St., Auburn, will resume monthly breakfasts on Sunday, Sept. 15, in honor of POWMIA Recognition Day. The breakfast, from 8 to 10 a.m. will consist of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, baked beans, toast, coffee and juice, plus an old Beaulieu family recipe for crepes. Afterward the community breakfasts will be held on the third Sunday of each month until April 2014. The cost is $6 for adults, $4 children under 12. All money raised supports veteran programs.
