Stevens studied at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, receiving a BFA degree in 1980. Since then he has enjoyed a meaningful and fulfilling career as an art educator in Maine and Arizona. He also holds a master’s degree in counseling and as a licensed counselor uses art as therapy in various workshops and programs throughout New England. His photographs and watercolor portraits have been displayed in galleries and collections throughout New England.
Guitarist and singer-percussionist Maya Best will provide live acoustic music for the evening. The show is free and open to the public, and the exhibit and sale will continue at Frost Farm Gallery, located in the historic David W. Frost farm, 272 Pikes Hill through Saturday, Sept. 28.
