Auburn association to hold pig roast

AUBURN —  United New Auburn Association will hold its third annual pig roast with all the fixings at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Rolly’s Diner parking lot.

Church to host bean and casserole supper

SABATTUS —  A baked bean and casserole supper will take place from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Our Lady of the Rosary Parish.

The meal includes desserts and beverages. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $3 for children under 12. The meal is hosted by the Knights of Columbus.

Knights of Columbus resume suppers

LEWISTON  —  Holy Cross Knights of Columbus Council 12,652 has announced the bean suppers will resume at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, in the Holy Cross Church Hall, 1080 Lisbon St.

Cost is $7 a person, $4 age 5 to 12. Take-out is available. For more information, contact Dan Leclair at 754-2841.

Golden Age Club cancels bus trip

AUBURN — The Golden Age Club of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish has had to cancel the bus trip to Indian Head Resort for September.

Instead of the trip, the next meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 10, will be at Davinci’s Restaurant in Lewiston from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Members will order from the menu and will receive individual checks with gratuities added.

Revival services at church, 26 Gartley St.

LISBON —  Revival Services and a Preacher’s Conference will be held at the Open Door Bible Baptist Church, 26 Gartley St., Sunday through Wednesday, Sept. 8 to 11.  An interpreter for the deaf will be at all services.

The event will feature Dr. Fred Adams from Sword Deaf Ministries, singers Don and Kim Case and evangelist Dr. Matt Moore.
