LEWISTON — The Lewiston Development Corporation Board of Directors held its annual meeting Sept. 18, celebrating 61 years of accomplishments and naming its board members and officers.

Chris Logan of Androscoggin Bank will serve as president, Chris Branch of Sebago Technics will be vice president, Maureen Aube of the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will serve as secretary and Paul Labrecque will be treasurer. Also, members Norm Lamie of the Maine Drinking Water Program, Anne Torregrossa of Brann & Isaacson, and Peter Traill were all elected to serve additional four-year terms.

After recognizing members for their commitment, Logan recapped the year and highlighted achievements of the organization. Logan later asked the board to think about long-term opportunities for the organization.

“We are all volunteers and our mission of supporting the business climate in Lewiston-Auburn is unwavering,” Logan said. “From possible consolidation to forging new partnerships, the discussion has been productive this year. But at the end of the day, we are about results and helping this community.”
