RANGELEY — Dan Perkins co-owner of Threads Galore Quilt Shop and Quilt Inn Rangeley Retreat Center, recently earned dual teacher certifications in the Studio 180 Design Inaugural Teacher Certification Program.
Perkins is a well-known, award-winning quilt maker and designer, holding membership in the Pine Tree Quilters Guild.
Following an intensive weeklong course in Pennsylvania during September, Perkins holds certification for the Studio 180 Design Fundamental Tools and Techniques as well as certification for the Studio 180 Design Rapid Fire Tools and Techniques. Led by Deb Tucker, founder of Studio 180, the two courses gathered instructors and quilt shop owners from across the U.S. and Canada.
Perkins offers demonstrations of the Studio 180 tools at Threads Galore Quilt Shop whenever he is available, and teaches classes at the Quilt Inn Rangeley Retreat Center. Perkins is also available for workshops, trunk shows and quilt camps.
