WINTHROP — Police and game wardens are searching for a man reported missing on Sunday.

Winthrop police Capt. Ryan Frost said Thomas Devoy, 60, was believed to have left his Stanley Road residence sometime Sunday morning.

Frost said Devoy left his residence without his cellphone or wallet and no indication of where he might be going.

Several wardens from the Maine Warden Service were sent to Devoy’s house on Sunday with a K-9 team and an airplane searched for him in the woods near his home, according to Frost.

The captain added Devoy’s family is extremely concerned about Devoy.

Devoy stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has blue eyes with salt and pepper hair. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black NorthFace pullover and slippers.

Anyone who knows where Devoy may be should contact Winthrop police at 377-7226.
