LEWISTON — A funeral Mass honoring the life of Antoinette M. Gagne was celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Holy Cross Church, following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home.

The Rev. Lionel Chouinard celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the beginning of Mass, the Pall was placed on Antoinette’s casket by her granddaughters, Lucy Clark and Laurie Gagne, which commemorated their grandmother’s baptism into a new life. The first reading was read by her granddaughter, Ruby Duguay, and the Prayer of the Faithful was read by her grandchildren, Jason and Jennifer Cyr. The offertory was presented to the altar by her great-grandchildren, Autumn Duguay, Dominik Cyr and Alley Robertson-Gagne. Words of remembrance were expressed by her great-granddaughter, Autumn Duguay. Singers during the Mass included her great-granddaughter, Erin Duguay, and great-nephew, Robert Metivier.

The Pallbearers were Rene, Marcel and Maurice Gagne, Aurele and Jason Cyr and Arthur Duguay. A reception of fellowship was held at Marco’s Restaurant following the committal services at the cemetery. Arrangements by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
