LEWISTON — Arc Iris, a new orchestral pop project featuring singer and instrumentalist Jocie Adams, former core member of The Low Anthem, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Bates College’s Olin Arts Center Concert Hall, 75 Russell St.

Adams, whose musical work includes classical composition and who previously worked as a NASA technician, formed this collective to present her ambitious new songs with a rich palette of instrumental colors.
Based in Providence, R.I., the band includes keyboardist Zach Tenorio-Miller, trumpeter Mike Irwin, drummer Ray Belli, bassist Max Johnson and singer-flutist Nora Fox.
