RUMFORD — Rumford Elementary School is hosting an author visit with Maine author Amy MacDonald. MacDonald will visit on Thursday, Dec. 5, and Friday, Dec. 6. The schedule includes a whole-school assembly on Thursday and an evening session Thursday at 6 p.m. for students and parents.

A book fair will run at the same time as the author visit. Preview day is Thursday, Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Purchase times are Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Both the author visit and the book fair are open to the public.
