Promising newcomers: Boys: Sophomores — Jack Leopold, Thomas Wing; Freshmen — Tucker Barber, Thad Gunther, Brandon Lefresne, Thomas Marshall, Miles Pelletier, Nolan Rogers; Girls: Senior — Sarita Crandall; Freshmen — Grace Andrews, Julia Ramsey, Addie Schanz.
Season outlook: The boys have been second to Falmouth in the Class A competition the past two years. Doiron was a top-15 performer in both state races. In terms of individual success, Wade is the skier to watch. She is the reigning Class A freestyle champion and posted a top-five result at the Eastern High School Championships. The influx of first-year skiers on both sides should keep the Cougars in their customary place among the state’s elite for the foreseeable future.
