AUBURN — Renae Rose Turcotte, 37, of 2 Fox Run Drive in Lewiston, died in Auburn on Friday, Dec. 6, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice Services, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Brunswick on July 1, 1976, she was the daughter of Dennis and Maureen Driscoll Turcotte of Lewiston. She was a graduate of Lisbon High School, Class of 1994, and received an associate degree from Mid-State College.
Renae worked at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport. Then, her love of travel and adventure led her to Brisbane, Australia, where she held a job as an administrative assistant at Queensland University. She lived and worked in Australia for several years, before returning to Maine.
A member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Parish in Lisbon Falls, she is survived by her parents; her brother, Kevin Turcotte; her two sisters, Kristan Turcotte and Kerry Lemieux and husband, Jim Lemieux; three nieces, Cortney, Katherine and Claudia; two nephews, Zack and Connor; two great-nieces, Lydia and Celia, all of Lisbon Falls; and her loving boyfriend, Tomek Borkowski.
