As sleet and freezing rain blanketed the area, a Jeep Liberty and a Chevrolet collided head-on, on Mechanic Falls Road, Sunday afternoon. According to Oxford police Sgt. Rickie Jack, the two people were taken to the hospital as a result of the collision. The exact cause of the accident or extent of the injuries are unknown at this time.
