PORTLAND — The fourth annual Cycle4Care will be held from 4 p.m. to midnight Friday, Jan. 31, at University of New England Finley Recreation Center, 716 Stevens Ave.
Individuals and teams will be led by experienced instructors for an indoor cycling session, with motivating words and music. No experience is necessary. Help fill 100 bikes this year and raise $30,000 to support the Cancer Community Center’s free services.
Looking for more of a challenge? Register for a double session for two hours of riding.
Looking to do even more? Register for either the Endurance or Ultimate Challenge. Participants taking on the Endurance Challenge will ride for three hours and raise at least $250 and those taking on the Ultimate Challenge will ride for four hours and raise at least $500.
Registration is $5 for students, $20 single session, $40 double session, $20 Endurance Challenge and $40 Ultimate Challenge.
Water and snacks, along with showers and lockers, are available for all participants. Family and friends are encouraged to come to cheer along the cyclists. Child care and activities will be provided from 4 to 8 p.m.
The top team, collegiate team and individual fundraisers will be rewarded with prizes. All who participate will be entered into a raffle for prizes drawn each hour throughout the night.
